SEEKING: ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE/PAYABLE SPECIALIST TO APPLY: SUBMIT A RESUME AND LINKEDIN DESCRIPTION: This is an on-site office position.                                                                                                                                                                 Through the efforts of the Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist, customer's payments are collected upon for contracts, inspections, and service work for several offices including out of state offices. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Fire Life Safety or Construction industry, is highly organized, with advanced computer skills, and the ability to multi-task. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain up-to-date billing system using Blue Folder and QuickBooks Generate invoices and account statements Perform account reconciliations Follow up on, collect and allocate payments Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities Research and resolve payment discrepancies Produce monthly financial and management reports Assist in general financial management and analysis Review AR aging to ensure compliance Process credit card payments, prepare bank deposits, process adjustment Compile information necessary to pursue legal action for non-payment customers Develop a recovery system and initiate collection efforts Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally Other accounting duties assigned by management QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of Accounts Receivable/Collections work experience Construction or Facilities Services industry experience Degree in Accounting preferred Advanced skills in MS Office Suite and QuickBooks Working knowledge of Blue Folder or a Work Order billing system that interfaces with QuickBooks Familiar with PAYVE, Corrigo, iSupplier, OpsTechnology, PayMode, VendorCafe, ProCore Detailed with strong analytical skills Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Pass a pre-employment background check The ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with other people within the company and customers BENEFITS: We are pleased to offer a competitive compensation package which includes, Competitive hourly rate, medical and dental 100% paid by the company, vision, 401k, life insurance, paid time off and holidays, supportive team environment, tuition reimbursement, and career advancement opportunities.
