Job Summary

We are seeking a Piano Instructor to join our team! As a piano instructor, you will be teaching private one-on-one instruction in our Southington studios. The ideal candidate will have experience working with and teaching students, excellent communication skills, and a knack for developing young talent.

Responsibilities

Choose activities, lessons, and musical pieces based on the skillset and available students

Properly assess the skills of each student under your care, and work with each student to develop their individual skills

Stay up to date with trends in both teaching and the music industry

Attend staff meetings, as needed

Arrive 5 minutes early each day to be briefed on the current roster of students

Qualifications

Previous experience teaching music preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills

Excellent leadership and time management skills

Reliable transportation
