Job Summary

We are seeking a Violin or Viola Instructor to join our team! As an instructor, you will be teaching private one on one lessons. The ideal candidate will have experience working with and teaching students, excellent leadership skills, and a knack for developing young talent.

Responsibilities

Choose activities, lessons, and musical performances based on the skillset and available students

Attend recitals as needed twice per year

Properly assess the skills of each student under your care, and work with each student to develop their individual skills

Stay up to date with trends in both teaching and the music industry

Attend staff meetings, as needed

Maintain all musical equipment, as necessary

Qualifications

Previous experience teaching music preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills

Excellent leadership and time management skills
