Cashier - Mustang Equipment - San Antonio location.
Responsibilities:
- Collect cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers; make change accurately and efficiently
- Assists customers with questions and checking out orders
- Deal with returns and refunds as necessary
- Maintain cash control over register drawer and verify amounts are correct, email Daily Report
- Assists with the restocking of products in showroom areas, checking on pricing of items regularly with specials
- Filing invoices, Contracts, Bank Deposits
- Fill out and file all tax-exempt forms for location.
- Advises Store Manager or Service Location Manager of all customer complaints
- Print out time sheet/schedules for store location
- Has basic knowledge of Sales, Service and Parts Departments
- Responsible for registering warranties, warranty claims, paying & closing; follow up when needed
- Responsible for filing Fleet, Bid-Assist, and other claims
- Sends out mailers for special events, for multiple locations
- Keep store showrooms and bathrooms clean, letting Store Manager know of any maintenance problems
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
- High School diploma or GED required
- 2+ years’ experience as a Cashier/handling money
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Proficient cash register and clerical skills
- Ability to write and speak effectively; and understand instructions
- Proficient with computer programs such as Microsoft Office and other industry specific software
- Ability to do math easily and quickly
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs., stand for extended time, work at a quick pace
