    Job Description

    MW Partners is currently seeking a Social Media & Community Manager to work for our client who is a global leader in multimedia and creativity software products. 

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

     

    • Social/Community Strategy and Programs: Pioneer and evolve our social strategy, influencer programs, paid media recommendations and marketing campaigns for building an engaged online community and awareness with active social channels: curating UGC, publishing and managing day to day engagement on social media with proactive and reactive communications. 
    • Creative & Content Management: Coordinate and maintain relationships with agency partners & in-house creative teams to brief, manage, and/or create original content for distribution. Oversee and manage editorial calendar, understand content production pipeline, and be brand evangelist to help improve and communicate utilization of content
    • Analysis and Optimization: Analyze and report on the performance of owned social channels and community programs to measure the effectiveness of our efforts, with an emphasis on continuous optimization and iteration  
    • Voice of User: Champions the voice of community with internal stakeholders, working directly with the PMM and Product teams to share insights and recommendations
    • Trend Spotter: Expert understanding of how brands should participate in social media in an authentic way. Understands pop culture, trends, and the general zeitgeist of the community; social and meme culture and how to credibly and sensitively work within it while stewarding the brand

      

     

    REQUIREMENTS: 

     

    • BA in relevant field required
    • Minimum 4+ years of full time work experience
    • Experience working in social and/or community management
    • Passion about Creativity.  Ideally you have creative skills yourselves, are a user of Photoshop Express or other consumer mobile photo editing apps, and are able to make creative social posts on the fly 
    • Excellent communication skills, especially writing skills and ability to manage customer facing communications.  Comfortable to draft, edit, and proof copy that is both conversational, accurate, and can compel action.
    • Impeccable project management skills and ability to adapt to a fast paced environment
    • Highly collaborative, resourceful and willing to help build processes, influence and communications across teams
    • Ability to adapt to ambiguous and changing situations, proactively identify problems, solutions, and takes actions to address them
    • The ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects under strict deadlines is essential.
    • Strong networking and social media skills.
