MW Partners is currently seeking a Junior Streaming Services Specialist to work for our client who is a leader in the media and entertainment industry.​

This is a dynamic role that will touch several elements of our live streaming workflows. The right candidate will be a valuable coordinator who will ensure we successfully stream multiple concurrent games, and oversee the dynamic ad insertion process for specific games.

You must be able to coordinate multiple stakeholders who all need to play a role for us to successfully stream games across different platforms. The job will also require you to count production teams in and out of commercial breaks in live events. Assertiveness is a must.

Quality assurance support is another big part of this job. You will play a key role in providing QA for our portfolio of live streaming products. Knowledge of streaming technology and devices, along with careful attention to detail is required.

Product portfolio ranges from the full spectrum of European soccer to collegiate athletics to live Sports events. We need a specialist who can quickly understand the technical challenges of each.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Scheduling events for major sporting events
• Ensuring all source feeds have been properly booked
• Managing software that inserts ads in our streams when cued by our broadcast team
• Monitor live events and report any on-air issues and concerns immediately
• Set-up testing windows and perform pre-game check-ins
• Ensure prompt and accurate communication to all stakeholders as needed
• Other operational duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least one year in a TV, Sports, or Entertainment production or related industry
• Knowledge of video streaming technologies and connected TV devices
• Experience booking live events, including satellite transmissions, and creating event schedules
• Passionate sports fan, with an emphasis on soccer
• Ability to multitask, follow strict directions to ensure compliance for rights management
• Must be a self-starter who can work with limited supervision but also able to work in a team dynamic
• Ability to communicate with multiple groups internally and externally via email, phone and SLACK
• Comfortable working with Gmail and Google Documents, Google Drive, and other related Google Applications
• Familiar with Windows operating systems
• Must be reliable and able to work shifts that include evenings and weekends
• Candidate must also have strong interpersonal communication skills
• Candidate must have reliable internet, phone/cell service , and own a personal OTT device (Roku, FireStick, AppleTV)
