    This upscale restaurant is seeking a General Manager. We are searching for an outgoing and qualified professional who is motivated by results. Our managers and chefs work as a team to provide an outstanding dining experience for our guests.

    Key responsibilities:

    Ensure that the restaurant is operating efficiently and effectively by managing the staff, delegating tasks, and setting goals.

    Mentor and coach staff and managers

    Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction by creating a fine dining experience that exceeds customer expectations.

    Manage inventory and ordering supplies to ensure that the restaurant has the necessary resources to operate.

    Manage and create schedules for employees and ensure that the restaurant is fully staffed during peak hours.

    Train new employees and provide ongoing training and development for existing staff.

    Manage the restaurant's budget and financial performance, including analyzing financial statements, creating budgets, and forecasting future revenue.

    Oversee marketing and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

    Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the restaurant to ensure that the restaurant is in compliance with local health codes.

    Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure that the restaurant has access to high-quality ingredients and supplies.

    Requirements:

    Experience: A Fine Dining Restaurant General Manager should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the food service industry, with at least 3 years in a management role in a fine dining establishment. Managed store sales of +5MM.

    Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Some employers may prefer candidates with an associate or bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, or a related field.

    Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and vendors is essential. Restaurant General Managers should be able to speak and write clearly and concisely.

    Leadership Skills: Restaurant General Managers should be able to lead and motivate a team of employees. They should be able to delegate tasks, set goals, and provide constructive feedback.

    Financial Management Skills: Restaurant General Managers should have a strong understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial statements.

    Fine Dining Knowledge: Restaurant General Managers should have a strong knowledge of fine dining etiquette, high-end cuisine, wine, and spirits.

    Problem-Solving Skills: Restaurant General Managers should be able to identify problems and find solutions quickly and efficiently.

    Attention to Detail: Restaurant General Managers should have strong attention to detail and be able to oversee multiple tasks at once, including maintaining the restaurant's appearance, ambiance, and atmosphere.

    Flexibility: Fine Dining Restaurant General Managers should be able to adapt to changes in the restaurant industry, including changes in technology, customer preferences, and trends in fine dining.

    Food Safety Knowledge: Restaurant General Managers should have a strong understanding of food safety laws and regulations to ensure that the restaurant is operating in compliance with local health codes. They should also be able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in a fine dining establishment.

    Experience working at a Thai or Asian restaurant is preferred, but not required. Are you extremely organized and detail-oriented? Can you lead a crew?     Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
