THE ROLE: MAC SUPPORT SPECIALIST – LEVEL 2
We’re looking for a skilled, full-time Mac-focused IT Specialist to join our Service Desk team. You’ll work both remotely and onsite supporting our clients with a wide range of needs—from the day-to-day to the complex.
This role is only for people who already know their way around macOS and the Apple ecosystem.
If you’re just learning or don’t have solid experience with Mac support—this isn’t the position for you.
Apple certification is a big plus but not required.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Work out of our bright Midtown NYC office and travel to client sites in the city.
Solve diverse technical issues across desktops, servers, mobile devices, and more.
Handle support tickets including:
Password resets
Printer setups
OS updates
Workstation migrations
Server troubleshooting
MDM setups (e.g., JAMF, Mosyle, Intune)
Troubleshoot at the OS, hardware, and application level (macOS, Windows, Google Workspace, O365).
Work with network gear: NGFW, WiFi, VPN, switching (SonicWall, Cisco Meraki).
Troubleshoot VoIP, email security issues, spam filters, and printer relays.
Participate in on-call rotation and team standups.
Maintain clean documentation and client communication.
WHAT YOU BRING
4+ years of experience supporting macOS, iOS, and mobile devices.
Ability to assist Windows users at Level 1 as needed.
Comfort with tools like Keychain, Activity Monitor, Console, LaunchAgents/Daemons.
Familiarity with MDM solutions like JAMF, Mosyle, Intune, or Meraki.
Experience supporting environments with Google Workspace, Office 365, etc.
Strong client-facing skills—you’re friendly, clear, and approachable.
A self-starter mindset—you’re confident in solving problems but know when to ask for help.
Experience with ticketing systems (ConnectWise is a plus) and RMM tools.
