The Utility Operator performs a variety of mechanical and manual tasks throughout the plant to support different departments as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate all powered industrial and mechanical equipment in the facility to support all departments.
- Perform all job functions listed in the contract as assigned.
- Perform simple maintenance such as oiling of equipment and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Ensure that all items produced meet quality control requirements.
- Complete all necessary documents accurately and completely.
- Adhere to 5S standards by maintaining cleanliness of work area and following all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education:
- Perform work under general supervision and handle moderately complex issues and problems. Refer more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter.
- Typically require a high school diploma or equivalent and 0 to 2 years of experience.
Competencies/ Skills:
- Ability to interpret work instructions.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
You should be proficient in:
- Current CDL License
- Driver's License

$18.19 - $18.19 / HR
