JOB DESCRIPTION: We have an immediate need for a Safety Specialist at our Subaru customer site in Lafayette, IN. Reporting to the Corporate EHS Manager, the Site Environmental Health and Safety Specialist has the responsibility to identify and recommend actions on any exposure and to ensure the contract complies with all safety and environmental policies and procedures. This position works regularly and consistently with site operations managers to implement and maintain strategies, policies, programs, procedures, education and training to ensure compliance with all regulations, company policies and customer requirements.  

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least three (3) years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety, Science, or similar discipline.

SERVICES PERFORMED AT SITE:  Critical process cleaning, industrial cleaning and janitorial cleaning at an OEM automotive manufacturer

SHIFT DETAILS:  Mon-Fri, day shift.  Regular weekend and off-shift support needed.  On call 24/7
