WHAT WE NEED:

We are seeking a DEVOPS ENGINEER to join our growing Software Development team. The DevOps Developer will be responsible for the automation and delivery of MacStadium’s virtualization and orchestration products. Responsibilities include deployment system automation, provisioning automation, monitoring configuration automation, software platform environment configuration, and engineering of MacStadium platform integrations.

WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU NEED TO HAVE:

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or similar preferred
• 3 years of experience 
• Familiarity with Full Stack software development practices
• Experience with systems automation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills as well as team oriented and customer focused
•  Self-starter with the ability to work individually on defined tasks with minimal supervision
•  Ability to work in a team environment to deliver components to complex projects
• Collaborative and adaptable with the ability to learn quickly.

TECHNICAL SKILLS YOU NEED TO HAVE:

• Automation Tools
• Ansible
• Terraform
• Kubernetes
• Docker/Docker Swarm
• AWS (EKS, ECS, Monitoring, Authentication, Security, etc.)
• MacOS
• Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, CentOS, CoreOS etc.)
• CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, Github, etc.)
• Agile development tools (VSTS, Jira, GitLab)
• Code and Image repositories (Git, Github, Dockerhub)
• Automated testing tools (Jasmine, Mocha, Chai, Karma, etc.)
• Shell scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
• Networking - Understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, NAT, PAT, Routing, Load Balancing as well as Packet inspection tools (wireshark, etc.)
• Virtualization Platforms (QEMU, KVM, ESX)
• Monitoring and Monitoring Tools (Prometheus, Graphana, NetData, LogicMonitor, etc.)
