__The Junior Social Media Executive will provide support to the larger Social Media team. They are responsible for day-to- day research and trend analysis, social listening, social media monitoring and moderation tasks, as well as creation and presentation of educational material. This person must interact and engage effectively, in a timely manner, within the specified client workflow guidelines in addition to writing content and working with creative teams to develop social assets. They will learn to understand social analytics and be able to develop reports detailing social campaign performance. They will understand and stay aware of advertising requirements within regulated industries, along with current and new media developments and platform changes. They must participate in team meetings and support internal and external client initiatives to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and on target.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implementation and execution of ideas & campaigns 
• Assist with community management of brand social platforms  
• Assisting with social media related responsibilities for client facing projects – new business and current clients
• Daily/weekly/monthly reporting on deliverables to ensure that all assigned social properties are in good standing (on brand, compliant with regulated industries, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrates social media knowledge and understanding of social best practices respective of platform i.e., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Snap, TikTok, Blogs etc.
• Understands how social media fits into the client’s larger marketing plan / strategy 
• Staying ahead of social trends and proactively identifying opportunities the social team and clients

• Applicants are preferred to be a Communication, Digital Marketing, Advertising, Media Studies, Social Media Networking, or related field of studies undergraduate student. 
• Examples of past work 
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and time-management skills are of the highest importance. 
• Strong organizational and time management skills for content calendar 
• Comfort working in a start-up environment and balancing multiple/shifting priorities
• Must be able to work 20-25 hours at our office located in mid-town, NYC
