Title: Machine Assembler – Industrial Equipment

Location: Ewing, NJ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

    About the Role

Do you like building things from scratch? A well-established industrial equipment manufacturer in Ewing, NJ with over 60 years in business is looking for a hands-on Machine Assembler to join their manufacturing floor. You will be assembling complex industrial cleaning machines from the ground up — working with stainless steel components, mechanical hardware, plumbing connections, and precision instruments in a clean, stable indoor shop environment.

This is not a production line job. Every machine you build is a complete unit that ships to customers in aerospace, medical device, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing industries worldwide. You take pride in what you build and it shows in the quality of your work.

    What You Will Do

Build industrial machines from start to finish using blueprints and assembly drawings

Assemble stainless steel frames, panels, brackets, and mechanical subassemblies using hand and power tools

Install basic plumbing connections including pipes, fittings, and valves as part of the machine build

Work with heating and cooling components during complete machine assembly

Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and torque wrenches daily

Perform mechanical testing and inspection of completed assemblies before shipment

Complete work orders, inspection logs, and production documentation accurately

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace following 5S standards

Collaborate with engineering and quality teams when assembly questions arise

    What We Are Looking For

1–3 years of hands-on mechanical assembly, industrial equipment, or trade experience

Comfortable reading blueprints and building from technical assembly drawings independently

Strong with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments

Any exposure to plumbing connections, fluid systems, or heating and cooling components is a plus — does not need to be your primary background

Detail oriented, reliable, and takes ownership of their work

Stable work history — minimum 1–2 years in previous roles

Able to lift 50 lbs and stand throughout an 8 hour shift

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

What Makes This a Great Opportunity

$24–$26/hr — flexible upward for the right candidate and experience level

Monday through Friday 7AM–3:30PM — no weekends, no on-call, no field work

Clean, organized indoor manufacturing environment — not a dirty or noisy shop

Contract to hire with a genuine path to permanent full-time employment

Stable company that has been the leader in their industry for over 60 years

Build precision equipment used by aerospace, medical, pharmaceutical, and defense companies worldwide
