We are a fast-growing luxury sleepwear company with a warehouse located in Richmond, VA.

The Role and Your Impact:

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to add to our team as a full-time Machine Embroiderer Specialist to fulfill custom monogram orders. This person will have the knowledge, expertise and initiative to help us build out our current monogram capacity. This position would require overtime and possible weekends through peak.

We will provide initial training so you are comfortable with the specifications of our monograms, and we expect you to be highly proficient at embroidery, a self-starter and have the ability to keep multiple balls in the air at once.

Our customer's satisfaction is of utmost importance, so being detail oriented and checking for quality assurance will also be key in this role.

Machine operation

• Operate two single head commercial embroidery machines simultaneously, in an efficient manner
• Set up embroidery machines and select the thread and fabric that will be used for each job to operate single head commercial embroidery machines
• Ensure all custom embroidery instructions are followed accurately regarding initial/name placement and thread colors
• Basic sewing skills are a plus! Our embroideries may require the removal and sewing of pockets onto pajama sets when applicable.

Quality control and project management

• Exceptional quality control of product before and after production
• Able to achieve reasonable production output based on daily mix of production (stitch counts, types of items being decorated, etc.); a daily KPI will be given.
• Balance multiple projects without sacrificing efficiency

What experience you need:

• At least 1 full year's experience as an experienced embroidery machine operator
• Must have previous experience working in high-capacity embroidery roles
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with embroidery font programming

• Ability to work with multiple types of fabrics and patterns
• Must be detailed oriented and meticulous
• Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
• Must be able to work unsupervised

Compensation

• $20 per hour

This is a temporary position through the end of December, with potential to become permanent. If you become permanent, then you are eligible for the following:
