Machine Embroidery Digitizer

Full-Time, Remote Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic professional Machine Embroidery Digitizer to join the Pattern Department at Riley Blake Designs. The successful candidate will digitize a variety of projects including quilt patterns, ITH projects, word art, home decor, 3D projects and more. They will work closely with a Machine Embroidery Specialist to achieve and maintain our standards and stitch quality. The Digitizer will report directly to the Pattern Department Manager. Candidates need to be well-versed in a wide variety of digitizing techniques and standards. Additional quilting and sewing knowledge is a plus. The ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines at once is imperative.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the RBD Pattern Manager
• Communicate digitizing with writers and graphic designers in a clear and effective manner
• Self-assess digitized work for accuracy and stitchability
• Understanding of ITH and 3D assembly

Requirements

• Proven experience as a machine embroidery digitizer within the professional industry or similar role for a minimum of 2+ years
• Demonstrable experience in understanding a variety of digitizing styles and ITH assembly methods
• Solid computer skills, including Wilcom digitizing software and Google Docs/Sheets. (Adobe programs are an asset.)
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Team player
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to prioritize projects, and adhere to timelines
• Ability to work under pressure and motivation to succeed
