Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for aMachine Operatorin Spartanburg. Our client is a fragrance company. TheMachine Operatoris responsible for operating and troubleshoot all of the machines in this department. Some of the machines include but are not limited to; envelope coding machine, Fresh Scent filling machines, Fresh Scent bagging machine and Little David tape dispenser. Learning other machines may be required as the department adds new equipment. You must be able to work in a scented environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A MACHINE OPERATOR INCLUDES:

• Must be able (after training) to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on machines
• Ensure quality control standards
• Start up, operation, and shut down of machines
• Accurately maintain required log book per machine
• Any other duties and tasks assigned by supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS OF A MACHINE OPERATOR:

• Ability to stand for entire shift with repetitive lifting
• Manual dexterity of both hands
• Ability to safely lift and move 20 lbs.
• Ensure established housekeeping standards are met in work area
• Ensure a safe working environment, following safety procedures
• Report any incident, accident, or unsafe condition immediately
• Must be able to communicate well in a**positive

**manner

• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to follow specific instructions correctly
• Must be flexible in terms of duties, overtime, etc…
• Must be willing to do light hand assembly duties when needed
