Machine Operator – Advanced Ceramic Fibers (ACF)

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. This is an opportunity to work hands-on with innovative materials and specialized equipment that power next-generation applications in some of the world’s most demanding industries.
What You’ll Do:
As a Machine Operator at ACF, you’ll be responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery used in the creation of advanced ceramic and carbon-based fibers. You will:
Operate specialized fiber conversion and materials processing equipment in a high-tech production environment.
Follow detailed work orders, technical instructions, and product specifications with accuracy and consistency.
Monitor machine performance, perform basic troubleshooting, and notify supervisors or maintenance as needed.
Perform quality checks to ensure fiber products meet ACF’s high-performance and aesthetic standards.
Keep accurate records of production metrics, signoffs, and inspection data.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety procedures at all times.
Assist in continuous improvement efforts related to efficiency, quality, and workplace safety.
What You Bring – Skills & Experience:
Moderate understanding of mechanical operations and interest in learning more complex equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, instructions, and basic engineering drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependable attendance.
Willingness to work in a team and contribute to a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
Basic computer literacy (data entry, logging, reading digital work orders).
Education & Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or mechanical environment is a plus.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including occasional evening or weekend hours to support production demands.
