    An Olathe-based manufacturer is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. We are a small, growing, family-owned company that values good people, a positive work environment, and a culture that supports both professional and personal growth.

    Job Responsibilities

    Set up and operate machinery according to established procedures and guidelines.

    Safely and efficiently use manual tools.

    Adjust machine settings to meet product specifications and production targets.

    Perform First Piece Inspections in accordance with procedures.

    Troubleshoot minor machine issues as needed.

    Analyze major machine issues and collaborate with team members to diagnose and resolve problems.

    Maintain organization and cleanliness of machines and assigned work areas.

    Job Requirements

    Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions from management.

    Read and interpret documents, work instructions, and machine settings.

    Use and read measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.

    Must have strong attention to detail.

    Continuously monitor machine operation.

    Show patience and persistence when working through new setups or challenging products.

    Physical Requirements

    Frequent movement around machinery.

    Standing, bending, and squatting to operate and clean equipment.

    Frequent use of hands to operate machines and tools.

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally push or pull 100–200 lbs.

    Mathematical Skills

    Proficiency in basic math.

    Ability to convert measurements between Imperial (U.S.) and Metric systems.

    Personal Skills

    Dependable and reliable.

    Strong communication and organizational skills.

    Willingness to assist in areas beyond the outlined job responsibilities.

    Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

    Demonstrates ethical behavior and integrity.

    Experience

    Prior experience in a manufacturing environment or machine operation is preferred.

    Compensation & Schedule

    Pay: $16.00–$20.00 per hour (based on experience)

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
