Machine Operator
Description
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role follows production schedules, performs routine equipment checks, and maintains a clean and organized work area while adhering to company safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to established procedures.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine equipment adjustments and report mechanical issues to maintenance.
- Monitor machine performance and production output.
- Load raw materials and remove finished products from machines.
- Complete production records and maintain accurate documentation.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and company regulations.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist with machine changeovers and preventative maintenance as needed.
- Work with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed.
