Your tasks & responsibilities: The Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating production machinery to manufacture quality products in accordance with company standards, production schedules, and safety requirements. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow established procedures.
Set up, operate, and monitor assigned machinery according to standard operating procedures
Load raw materials and unload finished products as required
Inspect products during and after production to ensure quality standards are met
Perform routine adjustments and minor troubleshooting to maintain efficient operation
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Clean the machine regularly
Follow all company safety rules, OSHA regulations, and lockout/tagout procedures
Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues to supervision
Meet production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Report order status on company's ERP system
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions
Visual acuity sufficient to inspect products and equipment
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
Two years of machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
Basic math and measurement skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Technical or vocational training in manufacturing or machine operation
Experience with industrial equipment.
