Job Title: Machine Operator- 2nd shift

2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. $17.50 P/H

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining various types of machinery in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow strict safety protocols and quality control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure proper functioning and production output.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to prevent breakdowns.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to set up machines according to specifications.
- Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports, including machine performance and output rates.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and resolve issues.
- Assist in the training of new operators and other production staff as required.
- Keep work area organized and adhere to cleanliness standards.

Qualifications:

- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in manufacturing.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Capability to lift heavy objects (up to 25lbs)
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures and conditions.
