Job Summary
We are hiring a full-time Machine Operator to support manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for operating previously set-up production machines to manufacture precision metal components in accordance with blueprint specifications and quality standards.
This role is well-suited for candidates with experience as a Machine Operator, Production Operator, Manufacturing Operator, or CNC Machine Operator Helper.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate previously set-up manufacturing equipment, including:
- o Drill Press
- Broach
- Machining Center
- Harding Lathe
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts
- Monitor machine performance during production runs
- Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure quality compliance
- Measure parts using precision inspection tools such as:
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Pin gages
- Drop indicators
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and job travelers
- Accurately record production data on basket tickets
Required Qualifications
- Manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred
- Experience operating industrial machinery
- Ability to read mechanical prints and job travelers
- Knowledge of basic quality inspection techniques
- Basic computer skills & strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Safety-focused mindset
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per shift
- Ability to perform repetitive production tasks
