  • Responsibilities

    · Work in conjunction with Field Service Superintendent and Ops. Manager to oversee completion of capital projects within established budget and schedule including:

    o Managing completion of project tasks against schedule

    o Engineering and implementing solutions.

    o Working with third party providers

    o Perform ‘hands on’ mechanical and electrical functions when needed.

    · Evaluate mechanical failures, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions

    · Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to schedule repairs with minimal disruptions

    · Develop repair and preventative maintenance procedures for mechanical systems

    · Source and manage vendors, contractors, and parts procurement related to repair projects

    · Ensure all repair work complies with safety standards, codes, and company policies

    · Maintain accurate project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and technical reports

    · Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on machine reliability and performance

    · Help in departmental operation wherever necessary.

    · Punctual and regular attendance is required.

    · Able and willing to work any shift assigned.

    · Maintains a high level of confidentiality in all duties.

    · Keeps work areas clean and orderly.

    · Assumes other duties as directed by Manager.

    Required Skills

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
