Estimator – Machining / Manufacturing
Fridley, MN | Full Time | $80k - $140k
Konik is partnering with a leading provider of precision CNC machining and manufacturing services, specializing in industries such as aerospace, defense, medical devices, and specialty manufacturing. They are seeking a full-time Estimator to join their team in Fridley. This on-site role offers a competitive salary based on experience.
Estimator Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand project requirements and provide accurate estimates
- Estimate labor, outside services, and lead times to generate competitive bids
- Work closely with shop staff to ensure projects progress efficiently and according to plan
- Troubleshoot processes before and during production to prevent or limit issues
- Communicate effectively with production, management, and inspection teams to ensure alignment and quality
- Provide customers with accurate project progress updates
- Assist the Inspection department on quality-related questions as needed
- Program, set up, and operate machining centers and lathes
Estimator Requirements:
- Experience in machining shop environments, including programming and operating machining centers and lathes
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot processes
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit or stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience programming in Gibbs Cam
- Experience using SolidWorks
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience using JobBOSS

Additional Information:
