Join our precision-driven team at a machine shop in Brownsburg, Indiana, an AS9100/ISO-certified aerospace and defense manufacturer. We’re seeking a skilled CNC Machinist who takes pride in craftsmanship and wants to grow with a shop that values expertise and innovation.

What You’ll Do

Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes for precision parts production

Read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings

Program, edit, and optimize G-code for efficient machining operations

Select appropriate tooling and establish optimal speeds and feeds

Create custom fixtures and workholding solutions

Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments

Collaborate with engineering teams on process improvements

Maintain detailed production records and quality documentation

Required Qualifications

5+ years CNC mill and lathe setup/operation experience

Proven ability to read blueprints and machine parts to print specifications

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship

Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Reliable attendance and professional work ethic

Preferred Qualifications (Salary Premium for These Skills)

Mastercam, SolidWorks, or similar CAM software experience

Multi-axis machining (4th & 5th axis) experience

GD&T knowledge and application experience

Custom fixturing design and fabrication

Aerospace/defense manufacturing background

Trade school certification or apprenticeship completion

Experience with Haas, Mazak, or Fanuc controls
