Job Summary Small 3rd Generation family-run Stainless Steel fitting manufacturer is seeking an experienced Class "A" Machinist to lead our manufacturing team. You will be managing 8-10 machine operators in the production of threaded stainless steel fittings. You will also be repairing and maintaining the shop equipment as needed, assisting machine operators with set-ups and troublshooting any production issues. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail, previous experience in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to work well with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of manual machining including manual lathes, surface grinders and milling machine

Greenlee multi-spindle screw machines. Warner and Swasey turret lathes and chucking machines

NPT Threading of Stainless Steel

The ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements

Excellent attention to detail

Strong analytical skills

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee 8-10 machine operators and all aspects of production shop

Check final products for accuracy, and make adjustments to machines as needed to ensure the best final product

Conduct basic maintenance and repairs on shop equipment
