What You'll Do

Under the supervision of the Service Manager, the Machinist sets up, adjusts, and operates a variety of departmental machinery including horizontal and vertical mills, lathes, presses, and grinders to manufacture machine parts requiring very close tolerances by manual machining (not CNC).

• Do you have 1-3 years of skilled trades training in machine tool operations?
• Do you have welding experience (AWS welding certifications, preferred)?
• Are you able to perform basic math calculations and perform metric conversions?
• Do you have good oral and written communication skills?
• Are you able to read and understand blueprints , specifications, and routing?
• Do you have a strong willingness to learn in order to strengthen your skills?
• Are you in good physical condition with the ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8 consecutive hours?
