    Our client is the nation’s largest restaurant-focused digital marketing company. They connect consumers, businesses and communities offering thousands of dining, retail and entertainment options nationwide. In addition to their direct-to-consumer business, they are also a marketing program for restaurants, and a trusted partner offering incentives and loyalty solutions for businesses.

    Role:

    Our client is looking for a Chief Financial Officer. You will play a multifaceted role as the head of strategic accounting and finance functions for the organization. As a publicly traded company, you will ensure compliance with all regulatory and reporting obligations. Work with the company leadership team, board members, investors, and financial institutions using your strong analytical, planning and communication skills.

    Keys to Success:

    • Drive the company’s financial planning and reporting for a publicly traded company
    • Prepare and file regulatory reports (Qs/Ks)
    • Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments.
    • Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.
    • Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations.
    • Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports.
    • Oversee the company’s finance IT system.
    • Ensure compliance with law and company’s policies.
    • Supervise finance department personnel

    Requirements:

    • 10 or more years of demonstrated success functioning at a VP or C-level within finance.
    • Experience overseeing and handling SEC filings.
    • Public accounting/audit experience required.
    • Graduate degree in finance or MBA preferred.
    • Experience working with and maintaining relationships with investors and lenders.
    • Experience with the evaluation of M&A targets
    • Ability to communicate (verbal/written) with all levels of management within the organization to meet performance expectations.
    • Experience leading people, mentoring and developing managers and their teams.
    • Experience managing through positive change as the company invests and grows.
