Mad Science is seeking a part-time Partner Development Associate NOW!. We are the leading provider of experiential science programs for children from K to 8th grade. We promote and support STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) initiatives in the state of Oklahoma. To this end, we partner with science and children focused institutions such as NASA Kennedy Space Center, Scholastic Books, the Rube Goldberg and more.

As a Partner Development Associate, you will:
Develop NEW STEM partnership strategies and opportunities with children education focused institutions thru conferences, trade shows, mass mailing campaigns, email and social media, telephone and in-person visits and presentations.
Work closely with our program partners such as schools, libraries, non-profits organizations around the state to strengthen relationships around shared goals of promoting STEM programs to children. Through contacting and scheduling school programs (STEM programs, ASP’s, workshops, etc) with the existing partners
Works with Executive Team to strategize, develop and implement marketing campaigns throughout the year
Regularly pursues partners (any children education focused organization) that are not currently conducting Mad Science programs to gain a footing in ASP, assembly and workshop business
Requirements:
College degree in Education/Marketing/ Science preferred, but not required with commensurate experience
Experience in the Public Education system and STEM is helpful
At least 2 years of marketing/sales experience is desired
Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office products
Experience using a CRM such as Salesforce and digital media is a plus
Outstanding phone and writing skills necessary to develop proposals and presentations
Ability to work independently in an education and business environment
Creative thinker with strong organizational skills
Self-starter that is financially motivated
A fast learner and a natural problem solver
Manages time well
