    Mad Science is celebrating 30 years of providing Science, Technology, and Engineering with Math integration. Our mission is to spark imaginative learning in pre-high school students and show them how science affects the world around them. We are growing and looking for an operations manager that can assist us in delivering STEM and science edu-tainment programming in the greater Delaware Valley area.     DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

    Conducts Mad Science (MS) workshops as necessary.

    Cross-sells programs to existing and potential customers.

    Contact existing customers of science clubs and camps to renew past contracts.

    Schedules ongoing programs (Science Club, Workshops, Events, etc) with existing and new customers.

    Creates and maintains science club and camp rosters including confirm student participation and payment.

    Creates and maintains schedule of instructors and equipment use for all MS programs.

    Schedule all instructors and/or instructor substitutes according to the schedule.

    Assist Lead Instructor in the hiring process of part-time staff for science clubs and workshops.

    Maintains office hours as needed and manages office.

    Serves as a role model for Instructors regarding knowledge of program content and adherence to policies (on-time, casual-sharp office dress code, clean lab coat, etc.).

    Trains, coaches and supervises Instructors as a team with the Lead Instructor.

    Have working knowledge of Mad Science equipment to assist instructors in case of need.

    Pursue and review customer evaluations for each area of business and maintain a filing system of evaluations.

    Utilizes and develop proficiency with ACT (CRM software), MS Office Professional and web-based online registration tools, Google docs, Google calendar and other web-based social media tools like Facebook.

    Demonstrates professionalism and commitment to writing excellence which is critical for an education business.

    Assist the sales and marketing team with hot lead generation, including daily Birthday Party, Event and Workshop sales.

    Qualifications:

    Ability to relate to people of different personality

    Applicant must have experience working with children in group settings. Teaching certification is a huge plus.

    Must have great communication and organizational skills.

    Must have experience in sales and customer service.

    Outgoing and FUN loving personality is a plus.

    Strong computer skills including the use of online, web-based tools like Google Docs, social media, CRM and other tools.

    No science background necessary. Demonstrated interest in working with kids and education is a plus.
