MAD SCIENTIST

Calling all entertaining personalities! Join our growing group of Mad Scientists characters presenting science entertainment for children and adults using our innovative program which have been entertaining kids for over 30 years!

About You:

You thrive on children's energy. You have more of it than they do!

You are dependable. You show up to work on time because you love it!

You are adaptable. You like to tinker and invent; even learn at your job!

You want to inspire children. Maybe you are not a teacher or coach, but you are looking for a way to educate children in the funnest way possible.

You are not just looking for any job with kids. "I have kids; I babysat kids or I have lots of siblings" is not the reason you are applying to entertain children.

About Us:

We'll prepare science equipment (including a manual) in transportable totes for you to practice with before performing an event.

We'll pay you $30/hour for your event AND reimburse your mileage from our office.

We'll offer you a convenient schedule- at least two programs per week and you'll have the opportunity to manage your schedule online. We post our booking schedule two months in advance so you'll have lots of flexibility.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for being punctual to all events (30 minutes early)

Be gracious and demonstrate good customer service

Be energetic and entertaining

Review party script in advance

Complete new employee orientation and hands on training

Promotes all Mad Science programs to potential customers in a positive professional manner

Must have a reliable vehicle and be comfortable driving and parking in and around Boston
