Operations Manager and After School Program Instructor Position in SOUTH ORANGE COUNTY PART TIME: 15hr to 20 hrs per week.

What is the job description?
The Operations Manager at Mad Science is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day business operations, as well as executing necessary functions and tasks within the business.
The role requires someone with a positive take-charge attitude, who is comfortable working both in a team environment as well as autonomously.
This is an individual who has demonstrated capabilities within the basic business tasks, but who is also eager to take on more and go above and beyond in the interest of ensuring the success of the business.
As part of this job you will also have an opportunity to run After School programs with lots of exciting hands-on experiments and activities in every class.
We supply everything you need to teach including program content, materials, and an awesome Mad Science lab coats to wear!
How are you compensated?
$25 per 1hr
Paid training and orientation
What are we looking for in a Mad Scientist?
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, energetic, a reliable team player, and a highly organized individual
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects are essential to this position
You must enjoy and have some experience working with elementary aged children.
Positive energy and a sense of humor
Reliable personal transportation
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of company program operations
Devise and manage program rotation for all areas of business
Manage, organize & update relevant data using database applications
Ensure there is adequate staff and equipment to run all programs
Supervise Instructors including job assignments, performance reviews
Train program instructors in conjunction with Senior Instructor
We work with elementary schools and educational centers across South Orange County: Irvine, Newport Beach, Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch, Lake Forest, Laguna Hills, Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Dana Point, San Clemente, Rancho Santa Margarita, Rancho Mission Viejo, San Juan Capistrano.
