We're looking for a candidate with strong Java experience who wants to build product and solve problems in healthcare IT software!
Primary Function / Overview:
- Design and implement software products or product features while leading minor engineering efforts or participate as a senior member on major engineering efforts
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and implement software products and/or product features
- Unit testing
- Technical mentorship of team member engineers
- Collaborate and share technical knowledge
- Initiate and/or participate in technical architecture and major design discussions
- Maintain and improve existing software products/features
Required Experience:
- Previous work experience as a Software Engineer or Technical Team Lead working in object-oriented programming (Java preferred)
- Good communication skills and ability to communicate abstract technical concepts
- Self-starter, ability to work independently
- Experience in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Required Skills:
- Strong object-oriented programming experience (Java preferred)
- Passion for building products
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Hands on experience with relevant technical tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
- Demonstrated ability to research and acquire new technical skills independently
