We've been in the Film and TV Sync business for over 25 years, working with independent artists, songwriters, bands, and composers from all over the world. Our music is carefully and methodically curated to “work-to-picture”, and we own or control both sides, Sync and Master. Our music is rich and varied with over 1000 artists, songwriters, and bands in over 300 genre and subgenres spanning from the early 1900s to present day.

JOB OVERVIEW

Heavy Hitters is looking for a dynamic and detailed Music Admin Coordinator to help with several music-related items, such as catalog management, contract management, and royalty reporting.

The ideal candidate should have general knowledge of royalties and copyrights.

LOCATION

Glendale, CA; Hybrid

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Responsible for catalog management, including maintaining the master list and other databases

• Manage access to writer accounts

• Register new works

• Responsible for contract management, including sending contracts for signature, monitoring renewals, and setting up contracts.

• Be the point person for writer relations, including advances, check-in calls, and more

• Manage royalty reporting

• Manage YouTube reporting

• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent skills with Microsoft Office, especially with Excel

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Royalty and/or copyright familiarity

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with DISCO a plus

• Familiarity with Curve
