    REPORTING TO THIS POSITION: N/A

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ·Process incoming and outgoing account transfers (ACAT and NON-ACAT) through Pershing, LLC

    ·Effectively and accurately handling of the firm’s operational processing needs including but not limited to reviewing documents for completion and entering data in back-office and clearing firm systems while adhering to strict processing deadlines

    ·Ability to build and maintain an excellent working relationship with our advisors, clearing firm, business partners, transfer agents and fund companies

    ·Constant communication and follow-up with advisors and the firm’s clearing firm, Pershing LLC, to resolve and track all outstanding incoming and outgoing transfers.

    ·Handle Not in Good Order (NIGO) issues directly with branch offices in a timely and effective manner

    ·Answer phone and e-mail inquiries from advisors and contra-firms timely, accurately and appropriately

    ·Process, log, and forward investor checks, signature guarantee requests, re-registration and redemption requests of Alternative Investments to appropriate parties

    ·Process, track, status and follow-up on processing items including but not limited to Account Transfers, Cashiering (Money Movement) and New Accounts

    ·Support all functions of the Operations Department including but not limited to Account Transfers, Cashiering (Money Movement), New Accounts, and Client Services

    ·Handling of processing escalations related to securities movement, account opening and account maintenance issues that may arise during the daily workflow

    ·Processing of deposits and withdrawals via the clearing firm including but not limited to checks, ACHs, Federal Funds Wires, and Journals

    ·Process new accounts and transaction requests received for Supervising Principal review and approval

    ·Train branches on process and procedures related to account transfers, cashiering, new accounts and account maintenance

    ·Cross-train with other departments to create a seamless service environment for our advisors and their support staff

    ·Remain current on internal processes, policies, and procedures as well as products and systems offered by the firm

    ·Assume additional responsibilities as needed and as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum of two (2) years experience in the brokerage/financial services industry preferred
    • Knowledge of Pershing clearing system (NetX360), Microsoft Office, and Salesforce preferred
    • Have in-depth knowledge of different account registrations (retirement vs. non-retirement) and tax treatment of various accounts
    • Understanding of commission accounts vs. advisory accounts
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to communicate effectively, clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet multiple deadlines each day
    • Ability to process high volumes of data entry, accurately and quickly
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Excellent computer skills
    • Must be a team player
