DIGITAL MARKETING INTERN JOB SUMMARY

Madison Core Labs is looking for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Intern to work 10-15 hours per week.  This is a paid internship and provides the candidate an opportunity to gain professional experience by working on company marketing and communications projects. Our ideal intern candidate is very knowledgeable of social media and possesses good writing skills to produce quality content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. and postings on LinkedIn.

This is a great opportunity for college students who are working toward a future career in social media, marketing or communications to gain hands-on experience. Applicants should be current students, Business, Marketing or Communications majors preferred, with an interest in healthcare or communications. Any previous experience with digital marketing or social media, or completed relevant coursework will be considered a plus.

This is a remote position and you can work a flexible schedule, but must be available for weekly teleconference calls and meet communications timelines.

DIGITAL MARKETING INTERN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support digital marketing initiatives.
• Create engaging, sharable content such as social media posts, articles, videos, YouTube, etc.
• Assist with LinkedIn postings, social media and email campaigns, manage Twitter and Facebook channels.
• Assist with website development and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

DIGITAL MARKETING INTERN REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be familiar with Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram platforms; digital marketing experience a plus.
• Must be working toward a degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Communications, Journalism, Healthcare or a related field.
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop and other graphic design and content creation tools preferred.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Understand and can utilize digital media, and web/social media.
• Prior internship experience a plus
• Good computer skills
• Organized with good time management
• Excellent follow-up
• Dependable
