    POSITION SUMMARY

    This role is responsible for fixing production machines, such as die cast machines, CNCs, and facility support equipment, including air compressors, process water and cooling towers. Additionally, it involves rebuilding and installing production equipment as required.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Diagnose and take corrective action for electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical problems.

    • Make emergency repairs as needed in the entire facility.

    • Rebuild equipment as needed.

    • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints (Electrical & Hydraulics)

    • Diagnose PLC interface operation issues, diagnose complex PLC problems and take corrective measures.

    • Diagnose complex process issues and enact solutions.

    • Train and work with Machine Manufacturing Maintenance Technician -- Richmond, INs

    • Install new equipment, rebuild, or modify existing equipment.

    • Maintain the workplace clean and safe.

    • Other job-related duties as assigned.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Heavy Manufacturing Atmosphere with exposure to noise, extreme cold and heat, dirt, grease, smoke, dust, and molten metal. Working aloft, bending, and awkward positions.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Physical exertion is required with periodic lifting of up to 50 pounds. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and sometimes bend and move in the facility.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Technical school diploma in related field AND at least one (1) year maintenance experience or High School Diploma with at least 5 years maintenance experience.
    • Capability to work unsupervised or to supervise small groups.
    • Strong knowledge of TPM activities.
    • Familiarity with work order systems (ERP).
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
