POSITION SUMMARY

Perform secondary/value added operations on aluminum castings. Trim, inspect, deburr, pack and/or machine casting in a synchronous manufacturing environment. Cross training in all operations while meeting production, safety, quality and housekeeping standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Operate trim press, sand, drill, file and/or knife castings as required. 
• Minor troubleshooting and change or adjust machine tooling. 
• Perform visual and dimensional quality checks using simple gauges and/or precision measuring devices, and documenting activity (when applicable). 
• Perform safety checks to ensure safety devices are on and in working order. 
• Clean equipment and keep work area neat and orderly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• Basic reading and math skills required. 
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in comprehensive English. 
• Mechanical ability preferred.
