    We are now looking for an Industrial Maintenance and Repair Specialist -- Full-Time on the over-night and afternoon shift in Madison and Sun Prairie. If you are a hard worker and passionate, MKC is an excellent choice for your career development. Submit your application today!

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Machine repair of die casting machines, support equipment (punch presses, robots, etc.), additional machinery, buildings, and other repair and projects.

    Shifts are 11pm-7am and 3pm-11pm. There is a 5% shift allowance for these hours.

    KEY FUNCTIONS:

    • Carry out emergency machine repairs and reconstruct machinery as needed throughout the facility.
    • Inspect and read electrical, pneumatic diagrams, recognize symbols, and take corrective action.
    • Understand PLC operation and usage of PLC interface to diagnose issues.
    • Understand plant manufacturing processes and utilize that expertise to identify maintenance issues.
    • Knowledge and troubleshooting with CNC's.
    • Troubleshooting Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electrical.
    • Troubleshooting automation and robotics.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Technical school diploma in related field AND at least one (1) year maintenance experience or High School Diploma with at least 5 years maintenance experience.
    • Capacity to work unsupervised or to oversee small groups.
    • Strong knowledge of TPM activities.
    • Familiarity with job order systems (ERP).
    • Outstanding communication skills.
    • Outstanding attention to detail.
