    POSITION SUMMARY

    As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility will be to repair and maintain production machines, including die cast machines, CNCs, and facility support equipment. Additionally, you will be involved in equipment installation, rebuilds, and modifications as required.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Utilize your expertise to diagnose and address electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.

    • Perform emergency repairs across the entire plant when needed.

    • Rebuild equipment as necessary to ensure optimal performance.

    • Demonstrate your ability to interpret and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics and blueprints.

    • Troubleshoot PLC interface operations and resolve complex PLC problems.

    • Identify and resolve complex process problems.

    • Collaborate with and provide guidance to other Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians.

    • Install new equipment or modify existing equipment to meet production requirements.

    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

    • Fulfill any other job-related duties as assigned.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    You will be working in a heavy manufacturing environment, which may expose you to noise, excessive heat and cold, dirt, grease, smoke, dust, and molten metal. The role may also involve working in elevated areas and performing tasks that require bending and assuming awkward positions.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    This position requires physical exertion, including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. You will be regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and may need to bend and move around the facility as necessary.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Completion of a technical school diploma in a related field AND a minimum of one (1) year of maintenance experience, OR a High School Diploma with at least 5 years of maintenance experience.
    • Ability to work independently or supervise small groups.
    • Strong knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
    • Familiarity with work order systems (ERP).
    • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
    • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in maintenance tasks.
