Bilingual Loan Officer Assistant

We have an opening for a Loan Officer Assistant to support our top producing sales team in our Lake Success, NY headquarters. Must be fluent in Spanish. This is an in-office position (not remote) so the ideal candidate will be able to commute to the office on a daily basis. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with loan officers to ensure loan structuring and adherence to underwriting guidelines. • Assist in loan processing, managing the loan pipeline, and ensuring timely completion of documentation. • Communicate effectively and provide regular updates to clients, real estate agents, and attorneys involved in the loan process. • Exhibit excellent customer service skills to address inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the loan process. • Demonstrate sales acumen to support business development efforts, including outreach to potential referral partners such as real estate agents, accountants, attorneys, and financial planners. • Assist with social media marketing initiatives, including managing accounts, creating engaging content, and monitoring performance. • Contribute to the preparation of marketing materials and collateral to promote our services. • Coordinate and assist in planning various events related to business development and client engagement. • Be part of a collaborative, hard-working team of professionals who are motivated by being the best they can be and continuously seeking ways to improve personally & professionally. Qualifications: • Must be bilingual in Spanish / English- both written and verbal • MUST be able to work in the office in Lake Success, NY • Minimum 2-5 years experience as a Loan Officer Assistant, Loan Processor, Loan Officer, or similar position in a sales capacity • Excellent multi-tasker in a very fast-paced environment • Encompass experience is required • Salesforce experience a plus • Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator a plus or if not licensed; willing to take a test to become licensed in NY • Outgoing - Comfortable talking to clients in person or via phone • Team player • Previous experience in the mortgage industry with a strong understanding of loan structuring, underwriting guidelines, and loan processing • Strong communication skills to maintain regular updates with clients, real estate agents, and attorneys • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to contribute to business development efforts • Familiarity with social media management and event planning • A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the desire to be coached and mentored by top industry professionals Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 + per file bonus
