    We are seeking an experienced mortgage loan officer with strong marketing, communication, and analysis skills to join our team and assist loan applicants in securing the ideal mortgage for their new home purchase. Responsibilities: • Monitor the mortgage process to ensure all company and regulatory processes are adhered to • Interact with customers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction • Assist borrowers in selecting loan programs that best fit their financial goals and needs • Maintain an active rolling pipeline of funding per our guidelines • Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners such as realtors, builders, bank colleagues, and the community at large • Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners such as realtors, builders, bank colleagues, and the community • A big focus will be on social media - we provide access to an IN-HOUSE videographer to provide and share content for you • Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them • Interact with customers, realtors, processors, and our internal support team to ensure a smooth transaction Qualifications: • Understanding of loan originator software such as Experian, LendingWise, or Calyx, and Office Suite highly preferred • Several years of experience in real estate, mortgage origination, or lending required • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, banking, real estate, or a related field • Strong understanding of company loan policies and guidelines, as well as all federal and state regulations • Provide excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, superior written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional decision-making ability Who works well in this model: • Seasoned professionals who already have referral sources established • Mortgage professionals looking to learn how to create a self-sustaining business • Loan Officers who want to grow go from 2-5 loans per month to over 20 loans per month • MLOs switching from retail and correspondent who no longer want to lose deals to brokers • Individuals who are motivated by a multiple six-figure income and have a desire to work for a top mortgage broker in the Maine market • Self-motivated individuals who want to win deals and be competitive in the market Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000+
