Seeking a part time afterschool babysitter for two elementary-age school children in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. The job includes school pickup (1 block away), homework help for a 2nd and 5th grader, and play time! Our kids love arts and crafts and theater so any arts background or interest is helpful. Will also involve trips to the playground for fresh air and accompanying them to swim lessons 1x per week (Mondays). We are flexible to do 3-5 days per week and hours are 230 to 530 or 630pm (a bit flexible on the end time). Great position for those studying education, theater, or the arts. We have a one year old dog who is a lab / golden retriever and very sweet (but big) so dog lovers only. Experience and references required. NYC only - for your benefit and ours we do not want to consider a lengthy commute time. Strict Covid protocols required: we are fully vaccinated and require proof of vaccination and careful habits around covid since the kids are too young to be eligible. $28/hour.
