Magic Valley Mall is looking for a part-time Social Media Assistant to help manage and grow Magic Valley Mall’s social media presence. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, has excellent communication skills, and is up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices.
Responsibilities:
· Develop a comprehensive understanding of brand standards and policies.
· Create and curate engaging content for our social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, YouTube, X)
· Understanding of each platform and the audience it engages with.
· Create and edit videos, photos, and audio.
· Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, messages, and comments.
· Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
· Track and analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports.
· Identify trends and insights to optimize social media performance.
· Stay up-to-date with social media best practices and new features
· Assistance with mall events.
Requirements:
· 1+ year of social media management experience
· The position will require approximately 4-7 hours per week.
· Passionate, engaged, and energetic with strong presentation and oral communication skills.
· Proficiency in social media platforms and analytics tools.
· Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g. Canva, Adobe Photoshop) a plus (not required)
· Fluent in Spanish a plus (not required)
· Must be punctual, dependable, organized, and responsible
· Ability to self-motivate with little or no supervision
· This position is an early afternoon position, but you must be able to work some night and weekend hours
