Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at our facility located in Cincinnati, OH, 45240. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various CNC machines, including 3-4 axis VMC and 5+ axis CNC lathes and mills. Your expertise in GD&T, M-Code, and manual machining skills will be essential in ensuring the production of high-quality precision parts.
Responsibilities
- Operate and set up CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) and CNC Lathe (5+ axis) machines
- Program and operate CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) and CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) machines
- Perform machine setups for production runs, ensuring proper tooling and fixtures
- Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or deviations from specifications
- Conduct manual machining tasks as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Apply GD&T principles to ensure accurate and precise machining
- Utilize M-Code programming to optimize machine performance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) and CNC Lathe (5+ axis) machines
- Familiarity with CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) and CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) programming
- Strong knowledge of GD&T principles and their application
- Proficiency in M-Code programming
- Ability to perform machine setups for production runs
- Experience with manual machining tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and precision
- Good problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC machining is a plus
