    WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    A full-time Supply Chain Specialist who is based in our office IN ONTARIO, CA (ONE LAKESHORE CENTRE).

    THE JOB DESCRIPTION           

    Using our system SAP, you will generate order confirmations and invoices sending them directly to the customers.

    Our logistics department is the point of contact or our Sales Representatives when they have questions about [H|MTG1] , stock availability, freight etc.

    You will have daily contact with our main suppliers (also overseas) to ensure that all requirements in terms of supply and logistics are met.

    Ensure that all purchase orders and sales orders are shipped accurately and efficiently at minimum costs.

    Ensure all inventory and or stocking levels are accurately maintained, and reporting is kept up to date per company guidelines.

    You will be responsible for all aspects of the logistics planning and execution reporting directly to the Director and Head Quarters in The Netherlands.[H|MTG2] 

    You will work closely together with our Logistics  manager, who has to day-to-day contact with our 3PL warehouses to organize the inbound and outbound handling, as well as the freight coordination to the customers.

    YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    ·        You manage day to day communications with key suppliers.

    ·        You manage supplier contracts and supplier reviews with approval from the Director[H|MTG3] .

    ·        You keep the purchase manual up to date within the framework of ISO certification.

    ·        You are responsible for stock management including timely replenishment and a monthly inventory count verification.

    ·        You accurately generate and deliver sales orders and invoices for all customers.

    ·        You handle returns, both administratively and logistically.

    ·        You are responsible for booking transports.

    ·        You maintain contact with transporters and ensure proper coordination.

    ·        You will negotiate the best possible transport rates, including for import/export documentation.

    ·        All tasks and responsibilities will be in collaboration with the logistic manager.

    PROFILE OF THE FUNCTION:

    ·        You are a proactive person who tackles problems before they arise.

    ·        You can organize and prioritize your own work, while you also feel comfortable doing operational tasks.

    ·        You have a bachelor’s degree and approximately 5 years of work experience in a similar position.

    ·        You have knowledge of regulations and legislation in the field of import, customs and international transport (mainly ocean freight).

    ·        You have strong communication skills both verbally and written.

    ·        You have experience with Microsoft Office and are strong in Excel, Word, and Power Point.

    ·        Prior experience working in an ERP system is preferred.

    ·        You can work in a high stress environment and maintain high levels of proficiency.

    ·        You can work independently as well as in a team.

    ·        You are good at prioritizing tasks and thinking analytically while maintaining productive results.
