    Job Description

    We are a fast growing electronics recycling company, seeking the right candidate who desires to grow within our business. Experience in consumer electronics is a plus. Experience in cold-calling, cold-emailing, business relationship development is a plus. Experience in E-Commerce / Online Marketplaces is a plus. Ideal candidate will be familiar with all of the above, but we are willing to train if needed.

    The Business Development Representative will be expected to seek and establish, develop and maintain strong professional relationships with Vendors. The Business Development Representative will work with the business owner to build and grow a successful pipeline of new and recurring revenue and to identify vertical market, geographic, business process and gaps in our current sales strategies.

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Duties include but not limited to the following:

    • Contact potential vendors through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn marketing
    • Seek product from vendors to purchase for refurbishing/resale
    • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
    • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
    • Stay up-to-date with products and pricing
    • Keep database of potential vendors and follow-up on a regular basis for purchasing opportunities
    • Seek new product lines such as Computers, Laptops, Accessories for resale
    • Participate in bidding opportunities and make decisions based factors such as profit margin, repair costs, etc
    • Communicate with warehouse team and process return requests with vendors, and receive feedback on product quality

    KEY REQUIREMENTS:

    • 1-2 years of experience in cold-calling, cold-emailing, or developing business relationships.
    • Knowledgeable or able to learn about products such as cell phones, tablets, and other consumer electronics
    • Excellent presentation, negotiation and persuasion skills.
    • Experience with E-Commerce marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, Walmart, etc
    • Experience with E-Commerce software such omni-channel listing tools, shipping software,
    • Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills.
    • Ambitious, driven to succeed and no fear of rejection.
    • Thorough understanding of MS Office tools and Google Drive
    • Proven ability to work independently, with willingness to document daily activities, struggles and successes
    • Previous experience in working with prospect/client database systems.
