    Job Title: MRI Tech – Radiology / Imaging

    Rate: Up to $2650.00 weekly

    Location: Atlanta, GA

    Day Shift (8H) - (40 hours/week)

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Operate MRI Equipment: Use specialized MRI scanners to create detailed images of patients’ internal structures, including organs and tissues.
    • Patient Interaction: Prepare and educate patients about the MRI process, ensuring they are comfortable and addressing any concerns they may have.
    • Image Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of images produced, adjusting as necessary to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss image results and determine if additional images are needed.
    • Safety Protocols: Implement and adhere to safety procedures to protect patients and staff from the strong magnetic fields associated with MRI technology.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures performed and any relevant medical information.

    Education

    • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
    • Associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or related field.

    Experience

    • Prefer a minimum of 1 (1) year of proven experience as a MRI Technologist.
    • Excellent understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and ability to communicate it.
    • Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and understanding MRI principles and safety protocols.
    • Strong attention to detail and patient safety.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Licenses/Certifications

    • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and certification in MRI
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
