    Magnum Drywall Inc. is looking for a highly skilled Project Engineer to manage all engineering and technical projects. You will act as a coordinating figure, dealing with stakeholders across all areas of multiple projects, including but not limited to- cost, time and scope.

    A successful Project Engineer interprets the needs, expectations, and limitations of each, and brings them together with the aim of a successful project delivery. You will need to be good at balancing the demands of multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

Starting out as a drywall-only subcontractor, over the years Magnum has added services in four other divisions: Ceilings; Painting & Wallcovering; Plastering; and Specialties.

This means we employ competent professionals who respond quickly and thoroughly to bid requests and project oversight needs on a daily and weekly basis.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

    • Interpret the desired outcome into a detailed plan that can be implemented by a project team

    • Outline project deliverables, understand problems and convey effective workarounds to members of the team to ensure proper project completion.

    • Plan and forecast the project

    • Acquisition of appropriate staff, materials, and equipment

    • Liaising with contractors, suppliers and internal company stakeholders

    • Keep the project within budget and on schedule

    • Work to minimize the risks associated with engineering projects

    • Successfully manage a project team; may vary in size

    • Communicate with field installer and foremen daily

    • Ongoing reporting of the project progress, errors, etc.

    • Ensure that all aspects of the project proceed while adhering to internal company SOPs as well as external regulations and laws this includes maintenance of project documentation.

    • Quickly respond to client requests (2 hour minimum)

    • Troubleshoot problems as they arise on a project; finding efficient and effective solutions

    • Deliver project successfully, within budget and on time

    • Spend a significant amount of time on site, at the project

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related role.

    • 7+ years of experience in project management, engineering, systems design, or other related field,

    • Must have Procore and Bluebeam Software Experience

    • 3+ years of management experience leading multidisciplinary design teams required.

    • Prior experience working project management tools and softwares- Must be proficient in Procore.

    • Ability to prioritize workloads, problems and the needs of all members of the team.

    • Excellent problem solving skills; the ability to adjust and find solutions in the face of a problem.

    • Strong leadership skills- ability to successfully run a project and manage a team.

    • Good understanding of Magnum's services/capabilities.

    • Strong ability to multitask while still maintaining close attention to detail.

    • Ability to assess and understand facts before making significant decisions

    • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal, oral and listening
