  • Responsibilities

    For over 100 years, Maguire has been an industry leader in the fabrication, construction, and maintenance of water storage tanks and elevated water towers. The CNC Plasma Table Operator in Maguire’s new tank division will be in charge of using steel cutting table to produce items for water towers.

    The shift will run Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12-hour days. Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 as long as specific conditions are met!

    Essential Functions:

    • Understand CNC operations.
    • Have understanding and working knowledge of the cutting process on a plasma table.
    • Have understanding and knowledge of what to look for and how to check for quality.
    • Have the ability to read blueprints.
    • Ability to keep a clean and safe working environment.
    • Ability to mark material with proper identification to ensure material coming into and going out of work area is properly identified.
    • Ability to operate an overhead hoist.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
    • Goal oriented, reliable, and responsible for their actions.
    • Able to accept responsibility for others in work area.
    • Have good oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong safety record and ability to follow company safety policies at all times.

    Work Environment:

    • Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
    • Must be able to see details at close range.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
    • Must be able to traverse construction sites by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials.
